Regional science fair 2019

First I had to come up with the  topic that I should do my project on and I finally came up with it and my project was on boat hulls so I made my project and took it to the school science fair and I got through to the Regional science fair.

I was very happy and I keep getting luckier because at the Regional science fair I got silver for my project this year in 2019.

Last year for my group project I got silver, and last year for my project that I did by myself I go bronze. This year I won 10 dollars.

2019 school cross country.

First we got in the bus with the whole school to Brooke and Sam's house because that is where the cross country is.

When we got there we had something to eat and then practiced the course so we knew were to go.
Then the races started my little sister Pippa got to do it and she had not started school but she was four.
Pippa came third and then the other races started next was my turn.
I started doing some stretches and I was ready one of the teaches said" ready set go!! " and we all spinted off.
We jumped over the hay bales ran up the big hill at that stage I was coming fourth place but my legs were shattered and tired but I was in front of the fastest person.
I sprinted down the hill but some people over toke my because I went the wrong way and I ran past the finish line but if I did not go the wrong way I would of came fourth but I came sixt.

I was very happy with what place I came and after I got a sausage sizzle.

Ki o Rahi.

Kia or Rahi Is a very fun maori game and I love playing it but It is quite hard to play and there are lots  of rules.

It is a bit like ripper rugby and netball but it has a soft found ball and I have  played  three games before and In the three games I scored nine tries.

Thank you to matua damin for teaching us how to play ki o Rahi because it is very fun thank you matua damin.

The whale rider.

My class has been reading about the whale rider book and below are some slides about the whale rider  It has been very fun reading it so far.After my class has finished the book we can watch the movie.

Pou site dances.

In friday programe we were looking and places in our school so they get recognized more, we chose the playground,pou and bike track but my group had the pou to do the dance with.It was super fun!
